Dave Depencier's long relationship with construction started when he was 14 years old. Since then, he's fallen in love with building homes. After graduating from Dresden High School, he then pursued this love and studied Construction Engineering at Fanshawe College.
Right after finishing his degree, he began working on a framing crew where they built new homes. While working, Dave learned how to build homes from start to finish. He saw how the contractors dealt with their people and their clients, and this inspired him to start his own construction company.
He's always loved the concept of helping people build their dream homes. So, at the age of 23, he began to start building his dreams. He started Depencier Builders- a contracting company specializing in designing and building new homes and extensive renovations. From concept to completion, he was on top of everything. He doesn't just build beautiful and unique homes for people; he builds dreams and relationships. He turned visions into reality. And this is what makes him special as a contractor. He takes each project personally. "I don't just build homes, I build dreams. As each person is unique, each custom house we build is just as unique," Dave would always say.
Dave has always been known as a go-getter. He is never complacent and never settles. He always strives for the best and continuously seeks to improve. He even personally organized his bike ride called, "The Final Push", where he would ride his bike for 1000km in over 6 days. This personal project raised over $100,000 for the Chatham-Kent's Health Alliance.
As a very active member of the Dresden community, Dave makes sure that he invests his money back into the town by developing and building homes. He developed Dresden's first new home subdivision in 25 years and is developing another 40-lot phase in Dresden again.
